Job Purpose
The Talent Advisor is accountable for leading and executing full-cycle recruitment across Canada. Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, this role partners closely with national stakeholders to attract, assess, and hire high-potential candidates.
This role is best suited for a recruitment professional with prior experience in the construction, equipment rental, or skilled trades industry who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Talent Advisor will manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, leverage a variety of sourcing strategies, and build a strong employer brand through career fairs and targeted campus partnerships.
The position operates in a hybrid model, working remotely while being present in the branch once per week, with additional travel required for career fairs.
What you will do...
Lead end‑to‑end recruitment activities for a national portfolio of roles, from intake through offer and onboarding.
Partner with branch leaders and national stakeholders to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, universities, and technical schools to support early‑career talent pipelines.
Represent the organization at campus career fairs and early‑career recruiting events to promote the employer brand.
Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including databases, job boards, social media, and direct outreach, to attract qualified candidates.
Conduct structured interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate and manager experience.
Track and report on recruitment metrics related to sourcing effectiveness, hiring outcomes, and campus activities.
Ensure recruitment practices align with employment legislation, internal policies, and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and talent attraction strategies.
Perform other related duties as required.
Skills
Strong knowledge of full‑cycle recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience building partnerships with educational institutions and talent pipelines.
Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and identify trends.
Proficiency with recruitment systems and tools such as SuccessFactors
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a full‑cycle recruiter, within the construction, equipment rental, or skilled trades industry.
Demonstrated experience recruiting high‑volume or operational roles across multiple locations.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills across various role types.
Ability to source and engage candidates using databases, social platforms, and direct search techniques.
Valid driver’s license and a recent abstract will be required.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $80,000 plus bonus
