Overview

The Talent Management Senior Manager will support the Global Talent Management Center of Excellence (CoE) in the design, development, and implementation of organization wide talent management programs and initiatives. In particular, the role oversees the multi-level pre-hire assessment portfolio (i.e., PepHire) and internal assessment offerings across Sectors/Functions and various levels in the organization. This includes design, development, enhancement, implementation, and sustainment of these programs and initiatives.

This also includes monitoring effectiveness (e.g., ROI, utility, adverse impact), setting strategy, and leading ongoing validation of assessment tools. Key customers and stakeholders include: Sector People Function/Talent Management Teams, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Senior Level Business Leaders.

Responsibilities
• Serve as project lead and SME/expert in enterprise-wide employee selection processes, tools, and psychometrics.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders, Sector Talent Management teams, People Function leaders, Legal team and business leaders to address specific selection needs and provide action-oriented solutions.
• Refine and design assessments programs to meet changing business needs.
• Work with psychological assessment and selection vendor partners to support new assessment design, continuous improvement efforts including job analysis, validation analyses, adverse impact modeling, and legal documentation for policy and risk mitigation.
• Work with People Operations on the integration of new and existing vendor linkages to People systems for reporting requirements for data flow-through from selection to internal hire and for reporting (both standard and custom).
• Passion for and deep understanding of the PepsiCo selection and assessment agenda, including analysis, design, program implementation, and working with all levels of management in alignment with the selection strategy.
• Conduct necessary research on various topics / items for stakeholder and business interventions.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant assessment and selection topics, practices, solutions, technology, platforms, and current/changing regulations.
• Serve as talent management SME on all matters with legal, compliance, employee privacy, OFCCP, EEOC or any other entity or governing body as it relates to our selection and assessment policies, guidelines, and practices at PepsiCo for salaried (non-frontline) associates.
• Serve as coach and guide for leaders in PepsiCo including support in the onboarding process interpreting psychological assessments from their pre-hire process, supporting portions of their onboarding process, and coaching as a part of internal development programs using psychological assessment.
• Other GTM-related project work, including support of assessment and development programs, talent analytics projects, and talent development and training projects.

Compensation and Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
• PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology required; focus on assessment, selection, and quantitative methods preferred.
• 5 years of HR/TM business experience or human capital consulting with strong knowledge and working experience in assessment.
• Expertise in psychometric principles and experience with empirical validation models and research (with strong background in US and European legal requirements).
• Strong organizational and project management skills; strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Internal organizational experience and/or external consulting.
• Superior writing and presentation skills (e.g., ability to write custom narratives using assessment data).
• Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills including ability to influence upward without authority.
• Culturally and politically astute and possess a business mindset; ability to work through organizational complexity and ambiguity.
• Data analytics capability and knowledge of either SPSS and/or R.
• Knowledge and/or certification of personality assessments, functional capability assessments, and cognitive ability assessments.
• Experience managing a small team (1-2 associates).
