What will you be doing? Preparation of indirect tax returns in c.20 jurisdictions in Europe, Asia and Africa regions. Preparation of US sales and use tax returns in c.13 US States using third party tax reporting software (Avalara). Working with accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure the correct coding of invoices for tax purposes. Monthly reconciliation of indirect tax balance sheet accounts. Analysis and review of general ledger accounts for corporate tax analysis purposes. Assisting the Tax Team with other ad-hoc projects as required. Skills and Experience: Qualified accountant. In-house experience preferable but not necessary. Willingness to learn, and to be proactive in taking on new challenges. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Strong time management skills with a flexible approach to managing workload and meeting short external reporting deadlines. Experience with NetSuite accounting software would be advantageous.
