Job Description
We’re looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CTA) Tax Manager to join a growing and collaborative team based in Harrogate. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in either mixed tax or a blend of accounts and tax work, looking to take the next step in their career in a supportive and flexible working environment.
You’ll be joining a dynamic group of professionals with varied backgrounds across tax, finance and advisory, supporting a broad client base that includes individuals, entrepreneurs, and owner-managed businesses.
What’s on offer:
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
37.5 hours per week with flexibility around core hours (10.30am – 4.00pm)

What you'll be doing:
Leading on tax advisory projects across areas such as Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and profit extraction
Managing tax compliance for a varied portfolio, with a bias towards personal tax
Reviewing personal, partnership, trust and corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff
Overseeing the P11D process and reviewing final forms
Preparing HMRC disclosures and correspondence
Acting as a point of contact for clients on tax matters
Supporting the development of junior colleagues and reviewing their work
What we’re looking for:
ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (newly qualified applicants welcome)
Strong UK tax knowledge, particularly in personal and mixed tax
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Experience with IRIS software is a bonus
