Tax Manager – Accounting & Finance
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to assist with our organization’s income tax accounting, planning, compliance, and reporting functions. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filings, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and supporting strategic initiatives to optimize the company’s tax position. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
Assist 3rd party preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns.
Manage quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
Develop and implement processes to optimize the organization’s tax position while improving efficiency
Coordinate with external auditors, advisors, and government agencies as needed.
Research new and ongoing tax credits and provide recommendations to VP of Tax and Treasury
Support business initiatives, M&A activity, and special projects by providing tax due diligence
Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation to support tax filings and audits.
Maintain and update transfer pricing policies and documentation.
Other projects or duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Familiarity with ASC 740 and tax accounting principles.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications:
CPA certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently while managing and motivating a team.
Integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
