The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and facilitating the accurate preparation and filing of our clients' tax forms. Job Details
Key Responsibilities
• Tax Compliance and Advisory Oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries; prepare and review tax returns and ensure accuracy and completeness. Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise.
• Client Management Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing and resolving complex tax issues.
• Team Leadership Manage, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative environment. Provide training and guidance to junior staff.
• Regulatory Awareness Keep abreast of current developments in the tax area. Provide updates to clients and the firm regarding recent tax legislations and changes.
• Quality Control Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Oversee the work of junior team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm with a focus on tax.
• Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
