We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our tax services group, you will be responsible for preparing complex partnership returns, reviewing simple and moderate returns, and identifying potential adjustments due to tax law changes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare complex form 1065-Partnership returns for both real estate and operating partnerships
• Review simple and moderate returns of partnership, corporation, and S-Corporation
• Guarantee payments – concept and applications on tax returns
• Identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect on workpapers and returns
• Assist staff in addressing tax issues with proposed solutions
• Work level experience of international returns along with review capabilities
• Train and mentor new joiners on tax concepts and technology
• Share detailed review feedback with staff along with resolutions to tackle those
Requirements:
• Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate
• Experience: 3+ years in US Partnership & Corporate Taxation
• Good communication and drafting skills
• Demonstrate integrity and energy, possess independent working ability, and have a collaborative mindset
• Active communicator and a great team player
• Able to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
• Able to balance many projects simultaneously
• Able to work under pressure and time deadlines
• Able to work independently
• Able to be flexible with scheduling to meet workflow demands
• Able to present a professional appearance and demeanor
• Able to maintain client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism
