About The Role
We're looking for a Children's Care Team Leader to support the Registered Manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift. Be a part of developing our service and help make a difference to a young person's life every day.

Position: Children's Care Team Leader

Salary: £13.50 per hour.

Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne

Hours: The role is 40 hours were week with an expectation to work overtime to cover sickness and annual leave. Shifts: Early to Late shift – 7.30am to 9.00pm, Early Shift – 7.30am to 3.30pm, Late Shift – 3.00pm to 9.00pm, Sleep ins when required are paid at £55.

The role

You will support the Registered Manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift. This will involve providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower your team in supporting the children they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

About you

Successful applicants will need:

Have experience supporting children with complex needs.
As a member of the team you will need a real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our children and young people to be as independent as they can, learn and develop through education and experience, stay healthy and most importantly, have a fun, fulfilling life.
You must be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis and ideally you will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards the qualification.

About The Service
We provide support to children aged 0 - 18 years with complex medical needs ranging from epilepsy, gastrostomy care, tracheotomy care, ventilator dependency, learning disability, communication and mobility support needs.

The residential house is well-equipped with 6 bedrooms that are all decorated to the taste of the child or young person that lives there.
