Full job description
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our wonderful team based in Auckland. As a team leader, you will be considered the team's Manager. Your role is to monitor and oversee the team members' activities. We need someone who wants to get stuck in and make this role their own!
This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 32 hours per week and the pay rate for this position will be 34 dollars per hour.
Responsibilities will include
Supervising and leading team members
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and correct
Ensuring that your workplace is tidy, clean and well organized.
Preparing Rosters, and manage Pay roll.
Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace
Hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
Setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback.
Conducting performance reviews and addressing any performance issues.
Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
Managing team dynamics and resolving conflicts.
Overseeing day-to-day team operations and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Monitoring progress, tracking key performance indicators, and reporting on team performance.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
Managing resources, including budgets and equipment, as needed.
Communicating team priorities and workflows to senior management.
Developing and implementing strategies to improve team performance and achieve objectives.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will need:
A full (clean) drivers’ licence.
The ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
A can-do / will-do attitude
Either a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in any Field/diploma in Business or Management equivalent to level 7 OR 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
