Job description
Role Overview:
As a Legal Compliance Manager, your main role will be to identify potential liabilities arising from breaches or non-compliance with statutory provisions in day-to-day operational transactions. You will also assist the management in identifying legal risks and unwarranted encumbrances/limitations in proposed plans of action. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient safeguarding of the employer's interests during the finalization of agreements with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential liabilities arising from breach or non-compliance with statutory provisions
- Assist management in identifying legal risks and unwarranted encumbrances/limitations in proposed plans of action
- Safeguard employer's interests during finalization of agreements with external stakeholders
- Manage litigation and disputes
- Provide legal advisories
- Draft and vet agreements
- Draft outward communications/documents with legal implications for the organization
- Stay updated with the latest amendments in the legal arena
Qualification Required:
- Any Graduate with LL.B./LLM
- 5-10 years of experience in the relevant field in any manufacturing or service industry of repute,
