About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support a client in the Defence-sector located in Adelaide. This role will be embedded within the client’s Talent Acquisition team and will focus on high-volume, end-to-end recruitment for Systems Engineering and other technical Defense positions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys fast-paced work, strong stakeholder engagement, and being part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Work Location & Hybrid Model
This role offers flexibility but requires consistent on-site client engagement.
Weekly Schedule:
2 days per week at the client site (mandatory)
1 day per week at the MPG office
2 days per week working from home
Flexibility is provided around the MPG/WFH balance; however, client-site presence is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment
Manage full-cycle recruitment across a portfolio of technical Defence roles.
Maintain approximately 20-30 active requisitions.
Build and manage ongoing candidate pipelines for high-demand skill sets.

Sourcing & Tools
Drive proactive sourcing strategies to attract engineering talent.
Utilise Workday, spreadsheets, and full system access to manage recruitment workflows and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with hiring managers and client stakeholders in a highly collaborative, corporate environment.
Partner with fellow recruiters to ensure seamless communication, role allocation, and workload management.
Team Environment
You will be embedded within the client’s Talent Acquisition team, working on-site with key team members.
You’ll work alongside other experienced recruiters, ensuring high-quality delivery across Defence hiring.
Required Experience & Attributes
3+ years of Technical/Engineering Recruitment experience (RPO, or Agency recruitment is a plus)
Comfortable managing high requisition volumes
Strong client-service focus with excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, project-driven environments
Understanding of Defence-sector recruitment expectations
Australian Citizenship is essential due to project requirements
Ability to commute to both the client site and MPG office in Adelaide
