Job Description
Are you a qualified Accountant with an interest in analyzing and substantiating financial and key liquidity and funding metrics Do you have an accounting and controlling background, strong financial or regulatory reporting skills and an ability to work well across an international team
We're looking for for a motivated and proactive individual to:
act as the lead person, responsible and accountable for the delivery of key technical and business changes in our liquidity and funding transformation process
partner with stakeholders across the organization and constructively propose and implement solutions in an inclusive and collaborative fashion
support change initiatives, including implementation of new or amended accounting standards and regulatory requirements
operate with a controller mindset, working closely with other finance teams globally to support the delivery of high-quality financial information and regulatory metrics, including analysis and preparation of internal control documentation to support disclosures in interim and annual reports and regulatory filings
identify, and act on, opportunities to optimize internal controls, analytical review procedures and other processes

qualified accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) or University Degree in Finance / Accounting
prior professional experience and qualifications in SQL and/or Python in the context of financial accounting and/or modelling
robust knowledge in financial products with strong high-level knowledge of how these impact financial resources
strong technical understanding of the Basel III framework, particularly relating to liquidity and funding requirements (LCR, NSFR)
at least 8 years of work experience with a comparable financial institution or a Big 4 company
an ability to learn quickly and work efficiently, with flexibility to rotate between different reporting and controlling topics
an ability to communicate ideas in a clear and concise way, and interest in building relationships across an international team
robust analytical skills and an inquisitive nature, with a knowledge of, or interest in learning about, banking and regulatory topics
