The Role: Technology Teaching Fellow

We are hiring Technology Teaching Fellows to work directly with girls in Government Schools, delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that introduce them to coding, digital making, artificial intelligence, and online safety.

Your job will be to teach on-site, bringing technology to life through real-world projects and problem-solving. You'll work through our story-led tech curriculum using laptops, tablets, coding games, and interactive tools. Each day, you’ll help girls imagine, design, and build tech solutions for the world around them.

This is a field-based role—you must be present in schools to deliver sessions, build trust, and guide learning in real time.

Responsibilities

· Teach coding fundamentals (using Scratch, HTML/CSS, app builders, and other beginner tools)

· Introduce girls to new technologies, including robotics, AI concepts, and digital storytelling

· Facilitate online safety sessions covering privacy, consent, cyberbullying, and responsible tech use

· Maintain attendance and session reports, write short field updates

· Track student progress and assist with documentation of project outcomes

· Adapt lessons to school settings, teaching indoors or outdoors as needed

Ideal Candidate

ü Passionate about teaching technology to first-generation learners

ü Experienced in coding or tech education, or deeply curious and willing to learn fast

ü Confident in classroom facilitation and hands-on teaching with digital tools

ü Skilled at engaging students with humour, empathy, and clarity

ü Fluent in English and the local language

ü Comfortable using mobile and web platforms for logging sessions and sharing content

ü Creative, grounded in reality, and driven to make technology inclusive
