What can you expect to be doing?
Assess property usage to pinpoint underutilisation and income opportunities; create and execute strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage and optimise solar use on properties, educating tenants on energy benefits to prevent energy poverty.
Serve as a super user for the Civica Tenancy and Asset Management software, ensuring it meets the tenancy team’s needs and developing staff training options.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, create project plans, and manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and contractors on tenancy projects, such as renovations, relocations, and expansions. Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables.
Maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and keeping them informed about project updates.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders involved in housing projects across Believe Housing Australia (BHA) properties.
Ensure projects comply with tenancy laws, regulations, and policies, including tenant rights and health and safety standards.
Keep accurate project documentation, including contracts and progress reports; provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Proactively address and resolve project challenges and risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to maximise cost-efficiency.
Collect tenant feedback to improve communication and service delivery.
Prepare content for social media, newsletters, and other communications as needed.
Ensure all asset improvements from housing projects are properly documented.
Maintain a customer-focused approach throughout the business.
Ensure customer outcomes are central to all decisions and actions.
Participate actively in training, meetings, and committees.
