The Role:
Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a skilled town planner to join their team in a diverse and collaborative environment. The role involves working on a wide range of projects across Queensland, with the opportunity to partner with developers, architects, and other industry professionals. The company is looking to expand its 10-person team, with the office conveniently located in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Responsibilities include preparing and managing development applications, leading strategic planning projects, interpreting planning schemes, and offering expert planning advice across various local government areas.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in town planning, with a strong understanding of planning principles and the ability to apply them effectively. Familiarity with the Queensland planning framework is a plus, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly is essential. We're seeking a motivated individual with critical thinking skills, excellent time management, and a desire to learn and grow within the team. If you have a background in SEQ and experience preparing or assessing development applications, even better! The company offers a supportive environment for professional development, with on-the-job training provided. The salary range is $60-$70k plus super, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
