THE WORK:
We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our growing finance team at Ripple. Reporting to the International Controller, the Trading Finance Manager will be involved in all aspects local management and statutory reporting, with a focus of trading desk reporting, including derivative accounting, FX forwards and spot and fixed income.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Collaborate cross-functionally to collect, manage, monitor, record, and report trading data.
Lead ledger close process for trading activities including revenue recognition, balance sheet reporting and trend analysis
Work in closely with and foster clear communication lines with our Global & US based internal and external stakeholders to streamline activities and deliverables
Responsible for the delivery of processes for the preparation data of Statutory Financial Statements and co-ordination of Statutory Audits where required
Assist in internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Support and deliver financial reporting for new and innovative trading strategies and products
Define and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close to provide highly reliable finance data output while designing and/or maintaining strong internal controls over finance processes
Drive process optimisation and automation initiatives to enhance productivity and accuracy
Localise new product/strategy initiatives for local reporting requirements and system setups
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Undergraduate degree or higher education in a related field such as accounting or finance.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the Banking sector
Experience with ERP or accounting software (Oracle Fusion preferred)
Solid knowledge of US GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS
Strong and effective, oral and written communication skills, across all levels.
High levels of proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Be proactive, innovative and motivated to achieve strategic business outcomes.
A passion for problem solving, adaptable, able to work autonomously and willing to be hands on.
Ability to rapidly respond to changing priorities
