As our new Trainee Administration Officer – Finance, you’ll dive into the heart of our operations, helping to process and maintain our creditor and payroll systems. Not only will you be ensuring we meet our obligations to our creditors and employees accurately and on time, but you’ll also be gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a corporate environment. Plus, you’ll be working towards a nationally recognised certification that will set your career on the fast track to success!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Payroll: Assist in preparing and processing payroll, including calculating leave entitlements and handling terminations with precision.
Payments Powerhouse: Help process payments to our creditors, making sure all invoices are authorised, legitimate, and correctly posted – nothing slips by you!
Audit Ace: Support the preparation of work papers and reconciliations to meet Audit Office requirements, ensuring our financial year runs smoothly.
Team Player: Ready to jump in and take on any task? You’ll support our Finance Team with projects and duties that match your skills and training.
What You’ll Need:
A valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
A willingness to learn and the drive to complete a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping – we’re here to support you every step of the way!

This position is a full-time position classified at The Traineeship rate as per the Local Government NSW (State) award 2026, plus 11.5% statutory superannuation and a 70-hour +-day fortnight. Conditions are in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2026.
