Kickstart Your Career in 2026 as a Trainee Dynamic Components Engineer (AME)

Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering journey? This exciting role offers hands-on training to develop the key responsibilities, requirements, and skills needed to become a Dynamic Components Engineer.

You’ll play a vital part in supporting our engineering team to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality Dynamic Components to our customers. Your tasks will include:

Working on helicopter transmissions under supervision
Performing maintenance, disassembly, and inspection
Assisting with related technical tasks as directed

Ideally you will have/be:

6 months aviation work experience in New Zealand (part time or full time)
Level 4 Aeronautical Engineering Certificate from a New Zealand based training institute.
A great attitude
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent relationship skills
Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure the best outcomes for the business and for customers
Excellent time management and task organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
Safety focused and able to drive a safety culture within the team.
