Job Description
Our Dunedin-based client is seeking a Temporary Travel & Events Coordinator for a contract of up to 6 months, starting immediately. This part-time role (3 days per week) focuses on delivering seamless travel logistics, coordinating company events, and administering national training programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across multiple functions, requiring strong organisational capability and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate domestic and international travel, including bookings, itineraries, and issue resolution
Maintain travel schedules and ensure compliance with company policies and cost efficiencies
Plan and deliver company events, including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, and logistics
Manage event registrations, communications, and post-event administration
Administer MCTI training programmes, including scheduling, enrolments, and record management
Provide general administrative support, including invoice processing and responding to internal queries
SKILL SET
Proven experience in travel, events, training administration, or a similar coordination role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in managing bookings and records
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using booking or CRM systems
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
