Job Description:
Banking Center Services and Resolution (BCS&R) is part of the Centralized Transaction Operations (CTO) team which is part of Consumer and Community Banking (CCB). The function reviews, retrieves, repairs, corrects and deposits checks and payments for Chase customers. BCS&R is a critical partner to Commercial Banking, Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) and the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), and works closely with internal CTO partners.
Retirement Services is a business unit within BCS&R consisting of ATM Claims and Exception Services (ACES), ATM Monitoring/Integrated Monitoring and Control Center and Customer Resolution Services, functions located in India Bangalore, Texas, Indianapolis and New York.
Retirement Services provides support to customers who hold retirement Certificates of Deposit and money market accounts at Chase. As of December 2020, there were 362,5+5 retirement accounts with a $3.+ billion in asset balances. Retirement Operations processes and researches transactions submitted by bankers and customers, internal partners and financial institutions. The group also handles tax withholding balancing and tax reporting of retirement transactions.
Volume is driven by Commercial Banking, Consumer & Community Banking (CCB), Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), Centralized Transaction Operations (CTO) and external institution
Job Responsibilities:
Indexes incoming retirement mail and e-faxes from customers and branches.
Researches beneficiary designation, processes after death payouts.
Performs testing and coordinates tax reporting; performs monthly, quarterly and annual federal, state and non-resident alien tax withholding.
Processes retirement transactions not supported by Customer Assist, such as outgoing trustee transfers, transfers due to divorce, automatic distribution maintenance,
re-characterizations, removal of excess.
Addresses executive and non-executive, banking center issues and escalations.
Reviews legal documents such as power of attorney, divorce decrees, guardian/conservator/curator requests.
Communicate effectively to peers, management, and cross lines of business partners
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, by sharing ideas for improvements

Graduate in Commerce (Preferred) or Graduate in any stream with 0-2 yrs banking experience
