Job description
As a UI/UX Designer at our software engineering company, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements. Your role will involve translating these requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You will design and deliver visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

User research, usability testing, and gathering feedback will be essential components of your work to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience. You will create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across all platforms and products. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design is crucial for this role.

Working closely with developers, you will ensure that the implementation of designs aligns with the intended vision and user experience. Iterating on designs based on feedback from users and team members will be part of your continuous improvement process. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall product strategy and vision by providing insights and recommendations based on user research and design principles.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have 0 to 2 years of experience in UI/UX design and a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar is required, along with experience in prototyping tools like InVision or Marvel.

A strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards is essential. Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and aesthetics are important. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment is key.

Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Experience with agile methodologies and working in a cross-functional team environment will be beneficial for this role.
