Job Description Durity is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented US Accountant who has served US clients with experience in Zoho Books and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing our client’s financial activities, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards , and providing accurate financial insights. Job Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations , including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Reconciliation of bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Utilize Zoho Books and QuickBooks for bookkeeping, reporting, and financial management. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. Managing accounts payable and accounts receivables.Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements. Collecting and maintaining W-+ forms from all vendors and contractors to ensure compliance. Tracking payments to eligible contractors and preparing 10++ forms at year-end as per IRS requirements. Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filing processes. Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve business operations and profitability. Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in US accounting. Proficiency in Zoho Books and QuickBooks is a must. Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other financial tools . Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills . CPA certification is a plus (not mandatory).
