Job Identification
Title: US Accounting & Payroll
Division: Accounting & Finance
Location: Base Location Mumbai - Andheri East (Walkable from Andheri Station)
• Work Time:7:00 pm
- 4:00 am
• Essential Duties and responsibilities
- US Payroll Activities-Salary disbursement & statutory compliance payment.
- Preparation of MIS Reporting for strategic review by the management.
- Prepare Financial Statements with various notes and schedules as per Indian GAAP (Non Ind-AS) requirements.
- Preparation of Annual Budget Statement by identifying current and projected operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations along with underlying assumptions.
- Ensure statutory compliances with state and central government requirements.
- Establish table of accounts and assigns entries to respective accounts.
- Analyze records of transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries in accounting software.
- Raising Invoices & follow-ups for invoice clearance
- Work with Banks, Vendors, External agencies & third parties
- Checking various contracts and preparing reports to substantiate payments/receipts prior to settlement.
- Participate in Accounting Audits
• Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Tally ERP
Knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS) and Schedule III strongly preferred. Experienced in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
High proficiency in MS Office Suite (primarily Excel).
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary.
Preferred experience working in a small to mid-size organization
