Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Perform and oversee monthly bank reconciliations.
- Record and reconcile monthly financial transactions, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Develop and maintain detailed supporting schedules and work papers for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze and reconcile budget variances, providing narrative explanations to stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and integration of new business units or projects into the accounting system.
- Collaborate with external audit and tax professionals during financial audits and tax preparation cycles.
- Participate in the implementation or enhancement of accounting software systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA, CPA, or equivalent preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in public accounting or audit engagements.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and understanding operational impacts on financial outcomes.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage Intacct (preferred but not mandatory).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹+0,000.00 per month
