Job Description
We are looking to hire a female accountant or Chartered Accountant (CA) based in Pune, India, who has hands-on experience in US accounting standards and tax practices. You will work with our US clients and handle day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform accounting and bookkeeping for US clients (QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, etc.)
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
• Handle AP/AR, reconciliations, and payroll support
• Work with CPAs on tax filings (Form 1065, 1120, 1040, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IRS requirements
• Communicate directly with US clients
Requirements:
• Must be female and based in Pune, India
• Minimum 3 years of experience in US accounting/bookkeeping
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, and US tax regulations
• Familiarity with GAAP, Form 1065, K-1, and other IRS forms is a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA-inter qualified, or equivalent preferred
Preferred:
• Experience working with a US-based accounting or outsourcing firm
• Knowledge of tools like Gusto, Bill.com, Hubdoc, etc.
• Comfortable working in EST time zone (optional but preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
