Job Profile: US Individual Tax Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA) to manage individual tax matters for US clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent social skills, in-depth knowledge of individual tax laws, and a proven track record of handling complex tax matters.
Description:
Tax Compliance:
We prepare and sign tax returns for individuals, including 1040, 1040NR, Sch C, Sch E, 2555, 1116, 8938, 8621, 5471, 8865, and others as required. We have international tax experience and stay updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
Our team conducts comprehensive tax research and analysis to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns. We also provide business tax knowledge and expertise to our clients.
Tax Planning and Advisory:
We offer tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and retirement strategies. Our team assists clients in making informed financial decisions by analyzing tax implications.
We guide clients on tax-efficient business structures, deductions, and credits (Sch C/Sch E). Our goal is to provide exceptional tax services that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Client Onboarding:
We work closely with the Director and Sales team to onboard new clients. Our team is available during US morning hours for client calls and participates in client onboarding processes, including gathering necessary information, verifying documents, and setting up client profiles.
We establish strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
Process Development and SOPs:
We develop and implement efficient processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for firm operations, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery. Our team streamlines workflow and identifies areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Mentoring and Training:
We provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees, assisting in their professional development. Our team conducts training sessions on tax regulations, software tools, and best practices.
We review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Qualifications:
We require a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA). Our ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in preparing and signing various tax forms, including 1040, 1040-NR, 5471, 5472, 1042-S, 8832, FBAR, FinCEN, 2555, 1116, 8621, 8938.
Business Tax Knowledge is a plus. Our team member should have strong knowledge of individual tax regulations, laws, and compliance requirements.
