What is the role?

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated problem-solver to develop knowledge and skills and apply fresh thinking to compliance and assurance in the AFP. We're interested in hearing from people who have the ability to ask the right questions and find the right solutions, to act with integrity and place the comminuty and workforce at the centre of everything you do.

You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.

What will you do?

Our HR area is looking for enthusiastic and flexible people to join us in supporting the staff and operations of our organisation across multiple teams. Our teams are responsible for delivering HR services and advice to all levels of the organisation, scheduling needs for various functions and events, managing the workforce planning and delivering on HR projects to the broader ACTP workforce.

Some of the key tasks that you will perform in these roles are:

Providing effective rostering and HR advice, ensuring compliance with the relevant industrial framework.
Workforce planning services including reporting and interrupting analytics and data.
Assisting with HR projects and administrative tasks as required.
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Desirable Requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:

Tertiary qualifications in relevant field.
Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise.

This role is located in Belconnen, ACT and applicants are expected to be based in the Canberra region.
