Position Overview
Ferrari of Vancouver is seeking an experienced Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our high-performance team. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring high-quality vehicles that meet our luxury brand standards and support our growing pre-owned inventory.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-driven, and experienced in vehicle sourcing within the automotive industry. You will play a key role in identifying acquisition opportunities, building relationships with sellers, and securing premium inventory that aligns with the Ferrari brand.
Key Responsibilities
Source and acquire high-quality pre-owned vehicles through multiple channels including private sellers, trade-ins, dealer networks, and online platforms.
Evaluate vehicles for condition, market value, and resale potential.
Negotiate purchase prices and finalize acquisition agreements with sellers.
Manage inbound leads from customers looking to sell their vehicles.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, wholesalers, and industry partners to generate acquisition opportunities.
Leverage existing industry networks to identify acquisition opportunities across Canada.
Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive purchasing strategies.
Work closely with the sales and management teams to identify inventory needs and target vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of acquisitions, appraisals, and purchase transactions.
Ensure all acquisitions meet dealership quality standards and brand expectations.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales, purchasing, or vehicle acquisition.
Strong knowledge of luxury and performance vehicles.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
Experience using online vehicle marketplaces and appraisal tools.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
VSA licensed or ability to obtain license
Preferred Experience & Skills
Background in luxury or exotic vehicle dealerships.
Very strong industry contacts across Canada, including the Eastern Canada region, with the ability to source vehicles through established relationships.
Familiarity with wholesale vehicle markets and auctions.
Knowledge of valuation tools such as vAuto or similar platforms.
