Employing over 1200 staff in 11 locations across NZ, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand’s port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our client’s businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.
Based at our Mount Maunganui branch we are seeking a permanent, full time vessel planner to interpret our client’s requirements by receiving and processing supplier vessel allocation for log vessels calling at C3 ports.
As part of this role, you will prepare vessel load lists for our drivers and yardmen. You will allocate log volume via C3’s inventory management system, liaise with Stevedores during the vessel loading process as well as co-ordinate with external companies regarding phytosanitary and fumigation requirements.
Essential requirements for the position are:
Strong teamwork skills
Flexibility with working hours as this is a 24/7 environment
Proven problem-solving skills
Strong numeracy abilities
Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
Good time management and adaptability
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Minimum Restricted driver licence
