Job Description
As a Data Management Lead for the HR Data Product, you will assume a central role in the Global HR Data Management Group, working between HR Data Delivery team and SMEs in Data Governance, Classification, Quality, Protection, Storage, Retention and Destruction, Use and Privacy, in strong partnership with Workforce Technology (WFT) Information Architects and Data Delivery engineers. The purpose of the role is to enable delivery of accurate, trusted, risk-managed data in the HR data platform, to be consumed securely and consistently across multiple firmwide HR Data Delivery channels. Responsibilities include maintaining understanding of HR Product data changes and enhancements, providing functional requirements and prioritization of Data Platform enhancements to WFT, identifying Data Management needs and facilitating connections with SMEs, developing robust test plans, and overseeing test execution and remediation of defects prior to production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage implementation of HR Data Platform enhancements aligned to HR Product domains, including functional requirements capture and delivery, test planning and oversight, prioritization of work, and working with technology partners throughout development to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality of delivery
Drive adherence to Data Risk Management policy and standards, and provide Data Quality oversight within the HR Product sustainment framework
Consult with Product Data Owners and Workforce Technology on the impact of changes on Data Risk Management compliance and delivery; engaging the appropriate Data Management SMEs as needed
Develop deep subject matter expertise and maintain partnerships across Data Management and HR Product domains
Identify problems, impediments, and risks involved with enhancements to the HR Product domains and HR Data Platform; prioritize and resolve in a timely manner; drive process improvements to prevent reoccurrence
Continuously improve the quality, effectiveness, and value of the HR Data Platform and Data Management products and processes
Manage dependencies and coordination when working on multiple enhancements impacting multiple products
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or similar
Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, process analysis/mapping, data governance or data analysis activities, preferably in technical business analysis with large, complex datasets
Proven ability to gain understanding of business needs including how data is used and managed, and develop functional requirements for solutions that support those needs
Experience with Business Objects, Tableau, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence or other reporting and analytics tools required
Experience with Oracle Human Capital Management, Workday or other Human Resources Information Systems preferred
Understanding of data flows and data management (e.g. reference data, structured/unstructured data, big data, etc)
Proven ability to coordinate across functional teams, IT professionals, and other key stakeholders
Strong relationship-building skills, demonstrated consultative approach and proven skill in influencing others
Proven ability to develop strategies and solution roadmaps with a risk-based approach to prioritization and problem solving
Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex issues concisely, communicating effectively and comfortably with senior stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Knowledge of Human Resources practices and processes preferred
