Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
Verify patient information and accurately document interactions
Route calls appropriately to clinical or administrative staff
Provide general information about services, office procedures, and next steps
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Support smooth day-to-day communication between patients and the care team
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a medical office, call center, or customer service role
Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize calls, and work independently in a virtual setting
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional work environment
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
Experience using Tebra (formerly Kareo) EHR
Background in customer service training or onboarding new staff
Familiarity with medical terminology and appointment workflows
