Position Details: Full Time Permanent, New Position
Starting Salary: starting at $45,200 (based on a 35-hour work week and commensurate with individual education and experience, as it relates to the position).
Location: Remote in Quebec or hybrid in Quebec City, Quebec

What You Will Do
Under the supervision of the Manager of Volunteer Engagement (MVE), the Volunteer Coordinator (VC) will support the MVE and the Managers of Volunteer Relations (MVRs) within their province in maintaining and growing DUC’s volunteer community through regular communication, coordination and providing first line of support to volunteers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the MVE and MVR in providing volunteer training by ensuring all training logistics are arranged (materials, venue, etc.). Training will include but not limited to, how to host a banquet, Peer to Peer, Third Party and other DUC fundraising opportunities.
Provide recommendations for conservation-focused volunteer opportunities and assist in matching and onboarding volunteers with these opportunities.
Respond to requests from potential volunteers and assist with matching opportunities in their region.
Work in collaboration with the MVE to onboard, track, and support new volunteers.
Submit merchandise orders to the distribution centre and distribute event support materials and merchandise for volunteer-led activities.
Assist the MVR in ensuring staff and volunteers are following Provincial Licensing Regulations for gaming.
Provide volunteers with the most up-to-date applications, financial reporting and auditing processes for applications.
Log sales activities, financial entries, opportunities, and campaigns, ensuring quality and accurate contact/account information is entered into the DUC CRM (Salesforce).
Process revenue transactions through CRM (including donations that do not come through online that will trigger finance department to issue a tax receipt). Ensure financial tracking spreadsheet on Teams is updated on a timely manner.
Maintain a database of volunteers, their contact information, and pertinent training, skills and expertise information.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in events and volunteer coordination.
Diploma in Business Admin, Marketing or related field
A combination of education and experience in related fields may be considered.
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, peer to peer platforms and Microsoft Office 365 programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English is preferred as the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners.
High emotional intelligence with a keen ability to connect with a diverse audience.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
