Job Description
We are looking for someone who can create engaging copy for our social media platforms to raise the profile of our charity and support of our projects.
What difference will you make?
As a grassroots charity, we raise awareness of our projects through social media and our website, we have no budget available, so we rely on engaging copy. Since our volunteer marketing manager came on board, our charity has grown tremendously and has enabled us to move our projects further forward ahead of time.
What are we looking for?
The ability to write engaging copy to raise awareness of the charity and to promote various projects and fundraising opportunities that showcase the life changing activities the charity carries out.
What will you be doing?
We’re looking for someone with excellent written skills. The ability to work independently and collaborative within a team. A passion for children’s education and wellbeing is vital as is being able to express our values, impact and needs by writing compelling copy targeted to our social media platforms as well as our website that will help showcase our charity and the life changing differences we are making to children and their families.As this role is remote, volunteers will require their own computer and internet access. This is a fully flexible role, with a requirement to attend a meeting with the trustees on dates and times to suit.
