Job Description
Create and develop internal warehousing cost and performance metrics by working in
collaboration with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence team and plant managers to help
integrate analytics into the category Business Units
In collaboration with plant management build and submit annual budgets and short-term
forecasts for labor, materials, and other capital plans for the warehousing area
Collaborate with logistics, demand planning, production planning, plant management and
customer service to understand inventory holding and customer service strategies
Continuously looking for opportunities to improve operational processes within the
plant warehouses
Assist in the development of new, and/or refresh existing training materials and tools for
the current Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related processes
Help drive a culture and environment of safety, security, and accountability within the
warehouse while meeting business objectives
Interfaces with warehouse management, transportation, human resources, and buyers to
maintain efficiencies and service levels
Responsible for the management of both companies, held inventory and, working
through a primary integrator, inventory held on the company’s behalf
Responsible for ensuring replenishment, receiving, storage, issuance, equipment
management, invent
