Waste Technical Support Officer
Fixed Term Position (Maternity Leave)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a person who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a ‘can do’ attitude working in a team environment. You will also need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
The Waste Technical Support Officer delivers high quality, efficient and effective business administration and technical support to the Waste and Compliance Services Coordinator and Waste Services Team.

Skills and Qualifications
High computer literacy including the use of MS office, spreadsheets and databases;
High report writing skills;
Sound knowledge, or the ability to gain such knowledge, of statutory requirements of various acts and regulations relevant to the position and solid understanding and experience in risk assessment of projects, activities and tasks;
Sound interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build positive working relationships with peers and members of the public as required; and
Proven ability and willingness to successfully manage multiple demands within the required timeframe; and
Effective communication skills, written, oral and stakeholder engagement.

General Salary Information
Level 3 $71,665 per annum plus superannuation.
