Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations.
• Utilize Tally software to perform routine accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Support financial audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analyses as required.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify risks and opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation of financial statements for board meetings, investor relations, and external stakeholders
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and accounting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with familiarity in the IND AS accounting system preferred but not required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in finance (Fintech industry advantage)
• Proficiency in accounting software - Tally.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance like GST, TDS and Other relevant laws
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive results.
