Work Experience 2026
The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) is offering a limited number of Year 10 students the opportunity to complete their Work Experience at our iconic venue, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in 2026.
Our Work Experience Program is designed to give students a meaningful introduction to the workplace, with exposure to different teams and functions that support one of Australia’s most recognised venues.
A cohort of students will be selected for the year, with placement dates aligned to school or college requirements and MCC availability.
What you will experience
As part of the program, successful students will:
Take part in a structured work experience placement at the MCG
Gain insight into how a large organisation operates
Be placed in areas aligned to their interests where possible
Build confidence through a real application and interview process
About you
You are curious, enthusiastic and keen to learn. You have a genuine interest in the MCG and are excited by the opportunity to gain workplace experience. No previous work experience is required.

What you hope to gain from the experience
Complete a short online questionnaire, including availability to attend an interview day

Shortlisted students will be invited to an interview day at the MCG, held on a Saturday 28 February 2026 with a parent or guardian.
