Job description
As the agency's video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, publishing-worthy projects that accurately reflect the brief.
• Taking the brief from the internal / external client as required.
• Review raw material to determine the shot list.
• Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
• Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
• Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
• Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
• Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
• Creating the final cut for publishing..
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is preferred.
• Previous work experience as a video editor is breferred. However, talented freshers are also welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.
• Creative and artistic skills.
• Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
• Ability to work to a tight schedule.
• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.

• Recommend and implement strategies for database optimization and capacity planning.
Security & Compliance:
• Implement and enforce database security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage database backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database systems, processes, and procedures.
Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data analysts, and system administrators.
• Mentor junior database developers, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in database development and management, with a strong focus on performance optimization and data security.
• Extensive experience with relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and other database programming languages.
Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of database architecture, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Knowledge of database security practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools related to database deployment and management.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data manipulation.
