Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Support tax preparation and filing processes.
• Manage payroll processing and related tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize accounting processes and improve efficiencies.
• Maintain confidential financial records and ensure security of sensitive information.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve accounting practices.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations is preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze financial data.
• Experience:
• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a work-from-home or remote setting.
• Experience with Canadian accounting practices and regulations.
• Previous experience with cloud-based accounting tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax preparation is a plus.
• Working Hours:
• Flexible working hours (Full-time/Part-time options available).
• Availability to work during standard Canadian business hours (+ AM - 5 PM).
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
