Job description
Looking for account / tax assistant for chartered accountant firm. This is the opportunity to work on various international accounting and tax assignment. The role will be converted to full time with growth opportunities. Preference : Female Only Job role: • Working on clients accounts using cloud based accounting software - QB, Xero, Zoho - Handling international client work • Basic data entry work • Basic Microsoft office work • Collaboration with client • Assistance in audit work • Tax return filing • Other VA work assigned Qualification / skill: • Minimum B.com • 1-2 Accounting work experience ( Optional) • Accounting strong fundamental • Good English • Attention to details • Disciplined and quick learner • Knowledge of Tally ( Optional) • Knowledge of basic taxes ( Optional) • Problem solver Work hours: 10:00-6:00 ( With one hour lunch break) Monday to Friday Alternate Saturday Off Pay : INR 7500 in beginning and increase after quarter as per performance. plus performance yearly bonus The role is long term. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our remote accounting team! In this role, you will manage financial transactions, perform reconciliations, and assist with monthly and yearly accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Invoicing & Billing: Generate invoices, track payments, and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Tax Preparation: Assist with preparing for tax filings and work with accountants to ensure compliance
• Software Management: Use Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting software to track financial data and generate reports
• Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients regarding their financial accounts and provide support when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
• Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of bookkeeping
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Solid understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
