Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Oversee and manage the end-to-end process for all Workers Compensation insurance claims.
Liaise with insurance providers to ensure efficient processing of claims.
Work closely with the HR and SHE teams to integrate wellbeing initiatives and practices for effective and measurable injury-prevention and engagement.
Develop and implement strategic Claims Management and Health & Wellbeing initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
Provide strategic advice to top management on SHE-related matters, considering both current trends and potential future challenges.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors.
Oversee the budget for claims and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring maximum ROI.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in claims management and/or corporate wellbeing initiatives.
Qualification in Occupational Health, Safety or a related field.
Demonstrated understanding of insurance claims processes and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated knowledge of SHE management systems, standards, and best practices.
Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
