Senior Backend Engineer (Remote – India) ₹10,000,000 – ₹11,000,000 + 0.5%–1.5% Equity Full-Time A YC-backed Series A startup shaping the future of conversational AI. Their AI teammates already resolve over 1M+ customer support tickets monthly for major enterprise customers across food delivery, crypto, and more. With multi-year contracts signed, rapid revenue traction, and a large Series A closed with Y Combinator, Nexus VP, and Tier 1 investors, this company is scaling its lean, elite team to power the next trillion voice interactions. What You’ll Do Build and scale the core backend infrastructure that powers the AI customer service agents Write highly scalable, production-ready Python code (Django experience a big plus) Architect backend services and infra for massive enterprise-grade scale Deploy and manage systems on AWS or GCP with a focus on speed and reliability Collaborate directly with founders and the founding engineer to influence architecture and direction Take high ownership: drive projects from design to deployment in a startup environment Who You Are 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep Python expertise (Django a plus) Strong cloud skills (AWS or GCP), with familiarity in Kubernetes/Docker Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production Prior startup experience or evidence of end-to-end ownership (founder, early team member, or shipped independent projects) CS degree or equivalent professional foundation Bonus: experience in high-velocity, high-ownership teams (startups, top-tier tech, or quant firms) Why Join ₹1 – 1.1 Crore INR base + meaningful equity (0.5%–1.5%) Direct influence over technical architecture and core infra decisions Work side-by-side with YC-backed founders and a proven founding engineer High-ownership role at one of the fastest-moving AI companies in the world Build systems that already impact millions of users — and soon billions
