About the role
Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of vehicles and the yard, assisting with vehicle movements, and ensuring the dealership environment is clean, safe, and organized. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a busy team.
Key responsibilities
Washing and detailing display cars daily to maintain showroom standards.
Preparing vehicles for delivery, ensuring they are spotless and ready to delight customers.
Assisting with vehicle movements and maintaining the yard’s cleanliness and presentation.
Supporting the team with organizing vehicle displays, minor vehicle checks, and general yard duties.
Ensuring vehicles are parked correctly and displayed to a high standard.
Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
About you
You’ll bring:
Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance.
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
High standards of vehicle and yard presentation.
An understanding of workplace safety and procedures.
Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles confidently.
A current, valid driver’s license
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Jowett Motor Group was born from the experience and forethought of Tony Jowett in 1995 with brands Audi, Volkswagen and Subaru, before opening Eastern Honda Doncaster in 2000 which remains today. In September 2024, JMG will officially take over all existing business operations in Canberra BMW - including Canberra MINI Garage and Canberra BMW Motorrad.
