Job Description
Key Responsibilities;
• S&M, Zonal & CSCC Overheads- Regular review of S&M expenses and Zonal overheads, monitoring of variations, identifying bookings requiring rectification & taking corrective actions. Optimize Cost by re-negotiation and ensure expenses are within the allocated budget
• DSO days LY vs ensure no overdue for more than +0 days. Outstanding against cheque bouncing cases should be NIL
• Zone profitability NC - Target vs Achievement . Analysis on GC, TP, CP & Media cost Optimizing profitability by mix change and scheme payout restructuring
• Performance Reviews, MIS and Dashboarding- Monthly MIS reporting , Review of P&L variance & analysis, resolution of open actionable items, Secondary Inventory Analysis
• Monitoring Claims processing Efficiency -Process Automation-Current days to proposed days. Paperless claims < 10 Days
• Accounts Payable-Timely processing of Vendor (CFA, Transporter, others) & Employee Payment of Zone. Creditor Risk & Control Assessment .
• Audit & Statutory Compliance-Closure of Sales tax / VAT cases/ Service Tax cases.
• Reduction in contingent liability by favorably closing cases pending with appeals / tribunals / High Court. Refund Received from various department. Submission of all the GST returns within the timelines. Co-ordination with all the authorities regarding notices of GST. All statutory Licenses has to be procured and valid for both offices and CFA.
• Handling Various Audits- Statutory, Transaction, etc
Essentials requirement;
• A qualified Chartered Accountant
• Mandatory 5+ years’ working experience of FMCG sector
• Sound knowledge of zonal accounting
