Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including If functions, Vlookup, Pivot table, and Conditional formatting.
• Highly proficient in the use of accounting software like Tally/ BUSY/ERP etc.
• Preparing monthly and annual financial reports and financial statements.
• Reporting to Chartered Accountant.
• Analyzing past records.
• Creating detailed reports like cash flow etc.
• Vendor management.
• Reconciliations with Online sales channels.
• Bank visit for cheque drop/statement/chequebook issue or any other issue.
• Update accounts receivable, accounts payable and issue invoices.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal, company accounting and financial guidelines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a junior accountant.
• Excellent organizing abilities.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
• Some experience working with general ledgers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Able to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to sit in front of a computer and look at a computer screen for long periods.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is a plus but not required.
• IPCC pass-out is preferred.
