Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to support the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand and navigate these processes, performing accounting functions in areas such as account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
Candidate Profile
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
• No prior work experience required
Key Responsibilities
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
The ideal candidate will coordinate and implement accounting work and projects as assigned, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws related to fraud and collection procedures. They will generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc., analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals
• Achieve and exceed goals, including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
• Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines
• Evaluate profits and losses accurately, monitoring taxes that apply and ensuring they are current, collected, and accrued
Demonstrating and Applying Accounting Knowledge
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes, applying new knowledge to their role. They will use computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
Leading Accounting Teams
The ideal candidate will utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others, advocating sound financial business decision-making and demonstrating honesty, integrity, and leadership by example.
Additional Responsibilities
• Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person
• Demonstrate personal integrity, effective listening skills, self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm
• Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner
• Manage time well and possess strong organizational skills
• Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise and well-organized way
