Experience:
8-10 years of experience
Forensic investigation and Internal Auditing
Planning & Execution: Lead and execute the annual internal audit plan, including financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
Risk Assessment: Participate in the annual risk assessment process to identify key areas of risk and develop audit programs to address those risks.
Audit Procedures: Develop and execute audit procedures, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive and timely audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses. Communicate audit results effectively to management and the audit committee.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop internal audit staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with management and other stakeholders across the organization.
Stay Current: Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in internal audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Forensic Auditing:
Investigates potential fraud, conflicts, abuse, and other forms of misconduct.
Collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data, including transactional data and accounting systems.
Identifies red flags and anomalies in financial data that may indicate fraud.
Handling whistle blower cases
Conducts interviews, gathers evidence, and prepares reports for investigations.
Collaborates with legal teams and law enforcement agencies.
Other Responsibilities:
Provides consultation and training to staff on internal controls and fraud prevention.
Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in audit and forensic accounting.
Education:
Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or other relevant certifications.
Technical
Skills:
Lead a team of professionals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software, data analysis tools, and forensic accounting software.
