3D Model Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient 3D Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and accuracy of 3D assets, environments, and functionalities in our [game/software/product]. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 3D modeling, animation pipelines, and visual performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Test and validate 3D assets for visual fidelity, performance, and compliance with technical standards.
• Identify and report bugs related to geometry, textures, lighting, animation, and collisions.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on 3D environments and characters.
• Collaborate closely with 3D artists, developers, and designers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Evaluate performance and rendering issues on multiple platforms (e.g., PC, console, VR,).
• Maintain and execute 3D asset test cases, checklists, and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure consistency with art direction and platform limitations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of 3D concepts including modeling, texturing, animation, and rendering.
• Hands-on experience with 3D tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Substance Painter).
• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Basic technical debugging skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Game Design, Animation, or related field.
• Prior experience in 3D QA testing in the gaming, simulation, or AR/VR industry.
• Experience with performance profiling tools and automated testing frameworks for 3D content.
• Freshers are welcome

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
