Job Description

They should ensure that all financial records are maintained in an organised and timely manner, and are readily available for audits or other financial reporting requirements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: The Assistant in Accounts Team assists in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including verifying and processing invoices, tracking payments and receipts, and reconciling vendor and customer accounts. They should also follow up on any discrepancies or issues, and maintain regular communication with vendors and customers to ensure smooth payment and collection processes.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: The Assistant in Accounts Team supports the preparation of financial reports and analysis, such as monthly financial statements, budget reports, and variance analysis. They should assist in conducting financial data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement or corrective actions as needed.
Compliance and Documentation: The Assistant in Accounts Team ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting regulations.
