Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented (Fresher) 'Account Assistant' to join our team in Ghatkopar. The ideal candidate should be a commerce graduate proficient in accounting, Tally software, and basic Excel and Word skills. The job profile involves GST, income tax, TDS and accounts-related work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GST compliance:
- Preparing and assisting/filing GST returns
- Ensuring timely payments of GST
- Maintaining accurate GST records and documentation
- Reconciling GST input tax credit with GSTR-2A
2. Income Tax:
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of income tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Calculating and ensuring timely payment of advance tax
- Maintaining accurate records for income tax assessments and audits
- Coordinating with auditors for income tax-related queries and compliance
3. Accounting:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing financial statements and reports
4. Tally operations:
- Managing day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally software
- Generating invoices and handling billing processes
- Conducting periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy
5. Excel & Word Tasks:
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets for financial data analysis
- Using Excel to prepare financial reports and summaries
- Drafting correspondence, reports, and documentation in Word
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations and other documents as needed

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
